Children are often introduced to the concept of God with the words “God loves you,” or “God is good.” If a child asks “Who/what is God?” the answer would be a simple “God is good.” And if the question is “What does God do?” the answer is probably a simple “God loves you.” As children get older, the concepts advance to “God made us” and “Jesus died on the cross for us.”
