Pastor Mark Driscoll, who has long faced controversy, has been temporarily suspended from TikTok after one of his posts received numerous complaints.
According to Premier Christian News, Driscoll has been banned until Sept. 22 from posting on the platform after “multiple violations” of TikTok’s guidelines.
Driscoll is currently serving as the pastor of Trinity Church in Scottsdale, Arizona.
In a recent TikTok post as part of a nine-week teaching series called “Real Men: ACT LIKE A MAN,” Driscoll said, “In a world void of strong men and fathers, we want to build you up to bless women and children, and transform legacies for generations to come.”
Driscoll also allegedly said that “men cannot have babies.”
TikTok also reportedly warned Driscoll that another suspension could lead to his account becoming view-only.
After the suspension, Driscoll posted a picture of his suspended account image on Twitter, writing, “What happens on TikTok when you say that men can’t have babies.”
