We’re just over an hour to Yosemite Valley, truly one of the coolest places on earth.

Inside Yosemite National Park dogs are welcome on established paths only. Generally, I’d say Yosemite isn’t that dog-friendly. If you’re headed to the park for vacation be really mindful of the various dog restrictions that will impact your time there.
That said, the Sentinel Meadow Loop trail was perfect for what we were hoping for. An easy, flat walk to get the dogs out of the house.
This isn’t Murray’s first trip to Yosemite, we brought him here on vacation when he was just a pup. As we were driving through the valley I kept wondering if he remembered it? Do dogs have long-term memories or do we just ascribe our memories of them in places onto them?
