“It’s time to step up!” The Words rang in my ears.
I heard someone shuffling papers. In answer to my unbidden question, I heard, “These are they who need to step up — but who also need some encouragement to do so.”
“How so, Lord?” I asked.
“There are many who have received training,” replied The LORD, “they’ve had prophecies, they’ve dipped their toe in the water — but they’ve never jumped in!”
“There are many who have gone to conference after conference, chased speaker after speaker,” says The LORD,
“What have they done with everything that I have poured into them?
Did they go just for their own pleasure?
They speak of seeing this preacher or that preacher like they are collecting names for their own Roll of Honor.
Don’t they realize this is idolatry — personal idolatry to make themselves look ‘good’?
Why do they think I took them that way? I sent them to equip…
