Even though I no longer have a 9 to 5 job, I find myself looking forward to Fridays. It is the day that members of the household get paid. It brings thoughts of the weekend; we can do things together. I think that working for so many years on a Monday to Friday schedule has conditioned my mind, somewhat, to looking forward to Fridays. It is not lost on me, however, that the reason that Friday meant so much to me was because I had a job working for someone. Having a job is something to be thankful for. However, if we are honest, we must confess that most of us enjoy our days off even more 😊
