As Moses descended from Mount Sinai carrying the Ten Commandments, his face was veiled because the glory of God was so bright it frightened people. Forty days in the presence of God has an impact, and the glory of God was shining brightly on the face of Moses.
This may come as a surprise to you, but we are all schmucks (sinners) in need of a Savior. Some of our demeanors may be frightening to people but that all could be rectified if we spend a little more time with the Father.
