Three years ago this month, Grassroots Apologetics for Parents (GAP) was born! A team and I had a vision to help close the GAP that exists for parents between knowing the world will challenge their kids’ faith and knowing what to do about it.
Our vision was to develop a model where people with a passion for apologetics could become “Parent Ambassadors” (PAs) who would launch and host GAP chapters at their local churches (with GAP providing all the materials and direction needed–we wanted to make it EASY!). Chapters would bring together parents, grandparents, and others for regular meetings to study important apologetics topics over multiple seasons, based on a recommended study plan provided by GAP:
In the last three years, dozens of chapters have launched around the world! Covid-19 put many churches’ plans on hold, but with most churches now resuming groups, our GAP team is looking for people who are interested in launching a chapter at their church this Fall.
