I often find myself looking at my life with some skepticism when it comes to understanding the idea of being a “New Creation”. Anyone who ever takes stock of their own life probably often feels more like the Bride of Frankenstein as opposed to being the Bride of Christ, and the idea of the old things passing away probably feels like less and less of a reality when we begin to look at our own life.
We know our shortcomings and our own weaknesses, better than anyone else on the planet, and we can often find ourselves in a place of self-condemnation and a feeling of failure because of them. Not to mention that the devil is very quick to try and remind us of our failings and the areas that we fall short in.
There is however good news on the other side of this. When Jesus Christ made you a New Creation, He started a process upon the inside of you, that at first appears unseen by all of the other outside influences….
