For some of us, deconstructing was traumatic.
For some, it happened quickly, like amputating a limb with an axe.
For others, it happened slowly, like amputating a limb with a spoon.
In either case, it was amputating a limb.
And it hurt.
We might not have proceeded if we’d known.
But… i think I still would have.
