Tenets of the Christian faith were encapsulated in the Apostles’ Creed and have been recited repeatedly by Christians for millennia since it was written a few hundred years after the birth of Jesus. While not composed by the apostles of Christ, it contains a brief summary of their teachings as recorded in Scripture.
